The Cerebellar Psychiatric Research Laboratory at the Athinoula A. Martinos Center for Biomedical Imaging is dedicated to understanding the role of the cerebellum and associated cortico-cerebellar circuits in psychiatric illness. Additional work in the lab is being conducted using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) in conjunction with measures of cognitive functioning to assess the effects of physical abuse resulting in brain injury in battered women.
